It is time for Operation Christmas Child! Please consider packing one or
more Christmas Boxes and making a financial donation for postage ($10 per
box) OR building a box online at samaritanpurse.org. You can also use your
own shoebox!
There are three different age groups to choose from. You will have a
pamphlet which gives you ideas and also tells you what should NOT be
included.
As you pack your box please prayerfully consider this mission. Please
keep in mind that your gift may be the only gift this special child receives. The
most important part of this mission is to pray for the child that will receive your
gift.
Your shoebox needs to be brought to the church by Sunday, November
13th. Set it on the altar steps for Pastor Melissa to pray over and bless on that
Sunday. Pat and Larry Joiner will pick up the boxes on Monday, November
14th and deliver them to the drop off location.

ready for the season.
On Sunday, November 20th, preparations are being made for the
Swiss Steak Dinner. How about doing preparations for the sanctuary
also? Come decorate the trees in the sanctuary and put up other
decorations at 12:30 P.M.

*Once again this year we will have the CARE tree to help local
families that are struggling. The tree will be at the front of the
sanctuary with tags sometime around November 16th. The
