In-Person Services Resume June 7th
8:30 Zion with communion
10:00am First with Communion
We will begin having in-person
service and live-streamed, so if you do not feel comfortable, or are sick, join in on
the livestream service. Please remember that we are all trying to do what
is best for safety and the well-being of all people. Therefore, we have a few
temporary changes that will help keep all safe.
1) If you have a mask please come
wearing it.
2) If you are not feeling well
please do not come.
2) We will not greet one another
and no fellowship after service.
3) We will only be seating people
in every other pew and will be trying to have 6 ft apart distances between
families.
4) There will not be offering
plates passed during the service. We will have the plates in the back of
sanctuary to place offering in when you enter or leave service. If you need an
envelope to label your offering those will also be in the back of sanctuary not
in the pews.
5) We will not have bulletins or
hymnals to hold, because everything will be on the screens. (This does not
include Zion church)
6) There will be hand sanitizer
in back window of sanctuary and at both entrances for use.
7) Communion will happen on June
7th, it will be also a little different, this will be explained at service that
morning.
I will be the first to admit that
this is not how I want us to have service together, so distant, unfriendly,
fearfulness of germs. I dread us having to do service in this way, but I also
can’t risk any of you getting sick because we were careless, and disregarding
any precautions. I miss the handshakes, high fives, hugs, and over all the
fellowship of gathering with our church family. Even though we will see each
other finally in person, it will still have to be different for a while.
Let us continue worshipping through livestream services and prepare to
join back in person on June 7th. Again please know of these changes and prepare
for them, as we pray and live together as a resurrected hopeful people!
